OK--here is my solution: I put in the pod, hit the 1-cup button, and use a smaller cup (not a mug) for this beverage. This way it is pretty wonderful. I think it is supposed to be European or something--they use cups, not our American mugs, or so I've heard.I have drunk Senseo for years now, & swear by it. I try out a variety of stuff--new ways to do the pods, different brands, etc. I always come back to the original! I read the reviews about the watered-down coffee, so I tried it the regular way, & I got watered-down coffee. Well duh! Use less water! It worked nicely with the 1-cup button, & now I can use all those wasted tea cups that come with sets of dishes. Ta da!

Arrived in plastic zip lock bag as if removed from original packaging. Listing shows photo of bag containing 10 each of the pods. The bag contained only 8. Listing stated a Senseo double podholder is needed in order to prepare Senseo Cappuccino. Mine is a double pod holder, but the water over fills the holder and spills out of the side. It doesn't seep through the pod fast enough to prevent this. Since the pods did not come in the original packaging there was no instructions on use. If this requires any other brewing method I would like to know.I inserted it coffee side up and it did not want to pass through the "cream". The results was a half a cup of week undrinkable cappuccino, a wet mess on the brewer and counter top and $25 down the drain.

I like strong coffee and I would consider this a little on the weaker side, but it's still good. It fits in the 2 pod holder. It is not very sweet so don't expect a gas station or coffee bar type latte - i still had to add a tiny bit of flavored creamer or a teaspoon of sugar but much less than I put in a regular cup.
