I lived in NOLA years ago... well just outside anyway, in Marrero. Hey it's close enough to say New Orleans, but I digress... New Orleans, I get back as often as I can -- every morning. The timer starts my Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker, Black and Brushed Metal dripping and in about 7 minutes, 12 cups of my own personal taste of The Crescent City--robust with just the right amount of spice. All that's missing are the sound of bottlecap tap shoes, a trumpeter playing some Satchmo, and someone else betting you that they can tell you where you got your shoes at. Thanks, Community, for the memories. Oh, don't forget the Beignet Mix by Cafe du Monde (1.75 pound)
