I recently got a Handpresso which I have come to love for work. I wanted to try as many varieties as I could just to see what's out there and this sampler does the trick. The upside is that there are really a lot of outstanding varieties available and if you buy the small packs you would spend 5x this amount or more to try this large selection of pods. I would totally buy this again if I was looking for a sample pack. I would also recommend this to anybody lookin to try many diff espressos in the ESE pod types.I am almost through the entire lot...At this point I can totally say this was a great purchase! There are some real gems in here. I have not come across a single variety that was not at least good.Of note... if you have a Handpresso, there is an additional portafilter the "Intense" which is much finer and slows extraction way down to about half normal speed. I have found that some of the pods about 50/50 are very tightly packed and the pods are very dense these do NOT need the intense portafilter and extraction is perfectly acceptable with the regular espresso portafilter. However, the other half are loser and not nearly as tightly packed and the Intense portafilter makes a HUGE difference! I will generally open one of the pair (I always make a double), inspect the pod and select the portafilter that makes the most sense.Threads on the internet recommend the LaVazza Gran Crema pods in the blue packs, a pair of which are included in this sampler. These make a very good shot from the handpresso. I tried them with the Intense portafilter and now we're talking! A very respectable shot of espresso.Just as a point of reference, I have a Rancilio Silvia and Rocky grinder for home use, I have been told that my double shots are some of the best espresso any of my family or friends have had... ever. So I'm just saying I know what good espresso should taste like.

This is the first sampler pack we ever ordered. I was a little worried that we might be getting a bunch of expired date code pods in this sample but that was not the case. They all seemed to be well within their freshness date codes. They warn you they reserve the right to substitute. We did get just one variety which they doubled up on so that's not too bad. It showed up pretty quickly after we ordered it. The price turned out to be a little higher than some of the websites that specialize in selling espresso and offer free shipping but since we haven't ordered from those yet I can't say if we might get out of date code pods at the lower price. These guys would have got 5 stars if they offered free shipping.

I got a huge pack of Espresso pods, all made in Italy by many different companies. It is fun to try the assortment, though the quality and taste varies widely. They shipped it with some amaretto sweets. Overall, a good value.
