This House Blend is a decent breakfast blend and leans more to the medium side than the bold side of coffee. However, there is a slight kick to it, so solid medium coffee drinkers may not like the blend.This k-cup has a balanced flavor and is not bitter. However, the coffee flavor it isn't memorable either. I would put it in the flavor category with Tully's House Blend, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) and Coffee People, Donut Shop K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) - a good breakfast coffee, but not good enough to pay extra to drink.Disclosure: I received this kcup in a free sample pack mailed by Keurig to its customers.

I delayed purchasing it (I have a $.50/cup limit and Barista runs twice that) until I found it on sale. Having used Keurig pots since they first came out a decade ago (?) and having tried about 80 flavors, I'm going to put this coffee right up in the top 10. I prefer it's Italian brother slightly but find this coffee to be both bold enough for my tastes and smooth enough for my partner's taste. We have a house full of guests now and the carousel has dozens of different coffees on it but the Barista is the one I keep having to refill.But it's not good enough to cost $1 a cup.8/12 - found them for $.60 a k-cup (box of 96).

I love Barista Prima.. I jokeingly call it " Pasta Prima Vera ".. running joke at home and work.. But we can joke about it, because both at work and at home, we will NOT be without it. It's the best tasting coffe on the market and it does not upset your stomach like a lot of the other bolder coffee's. Thank You Green Mountain.. Keep this 5 star coffee coming !
