First, you should understand that when you brew this K-Cup in your Keurig machine, it will come through with a larger quantity of "fines" or sediment than any other tea offered by other K-Cup manufacturers. I threw away my first 3 cups of green tea (I am reviewing the green tea for Amazon's Vine Program.) because I thought something had gone wrong in the brewing process. Turns out, that roughly 1/8th to 1/4 of a teaspoon of sediment at the bottom is intentional and a part of the particular appeal of this brand of K-Cup. I called the manufacturer to make sure my K-Cups weren't defective, and they explained the reason for all the fines to me.These K-Cups are designed to mimic the French press method of brewing tea and/or coffee, therefore, there will be more fines floating in the tea and at the bottom of the cup. This method results in a richer flavor, as anyone who uses a French press will tell you. If the fines freak you out, just wait a couple of minutes after brewing and most of them will settle quite nicely to the bottom. It's what I did and after most of it settled, I had a nice cup of flavorful green tea. I like Higgins and Burke teas very much, and I'm not surprised that this company, which makes excellent teas, has come with with this innovative method of enhancing the flavor of its green teas.That said, this is a good cup of tea for a K-Cup. Is it the same quality as loose leaf or even bagged tea? No, of course not. With a K-Cup, what you gain in convenience comes at a cost in quality. But I found it to be a better tasting tea than other K-Cup teas, smoother, mellower, with a milder finish. I added a bit of sugar to this green tea, which is something I'd ordinarily never do with a loose leaf green tea.It was good. Just don't freak out about the fines. They're supposed to be there, they'll make a better cuppa.

I normally just take a standard tea bag and throw it in the keurig. It works ok and tastes like tea from a tea bag. This tastes much better. Tastes like the tea you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant. After I use up all the tea bags in the house I will buy more of this!
