This was a good choice. We were looking to replace Starbucks' tassimo discs, since they are no longer producing them. This is cheaper and tastier, but you need two discs to fill a mug.

This is amazing. It looks like an expresso both in size and color but it's incredibly smooth. I think this is my favorite of all the tassimo's that I've tried so far (even better then Vulopso). It also doesn't come out boiling hot which is different from all the others I've tried. Highly recommend this coffee in and outside of the tassimo system.

In my review almost two years ago of the "Tassimo" model coffee machine by Bosch, I mentioned that there are a "variety of drinks currently available to be made with this machine, including varieties from Starbucks Coffee, the Nabob Coffee Company, Gevalia, Maxwell House, Twinings (tea), Suchard (hot chocolate), Carte Noire, Kenco, Jacobs (a German favorite of mine), Mastro Lorenzo, Seattle's Best Coffee, and Tazo Tea". While I sidelined my machine for a while in favor of less expensive alternatives, I recently resurrected my Tassimo for convenience and as an alternative for the more costlier options that I seemed to be moving toward, and the Jacobs Krönung selection in my opinion is the best option. Great aroma, pleasant taste, and enough caffeine to get me going for my morning run. Other reviewers here are correct that the amount of coffee that each "T DISC" brews is less than what the average American probably expects. The package clearly communicates that the amount of coffee made per disk in the concentration determined by the bar code is 130mL, with the medium size cup icon highlighted, the second lowest size amongst a range of four possible sizes, but unfortunately this information cannot be seen on Amazon. While I enjoyed the Starbucks selection from my earlier usage of this machine, it was also a costlier option that is no longer available.
